Well I got up at 08.00 and went to the flight line to make sure everything was ready for my flight. I heard the race route had been changed so intend to fly the original to knik (AWAN) and then to Willow for the start of the race.

0945 now turning light so hear we go.

Take off at 10.00 and followed the flight plan stopping at each point and snapping a picture as I progressed. The weather is clear with few clouds & not much wind so makes for a great flight.

The touch down at fix 03 was a little exciting  to say the least. But made it ok, Just the little trailer there.

Landed at Wasilla Remote on the beach at 10:47 and decided to stay here for the day. Have not been able to get any race updates as yet, I has been a great flight to this point and Im looking forward to the days ahead. . Continued on to Knik landing at 10:57, got my picture, and headed for Willow arriving at 11:35. Missed the start of the race, so took off at 12:00 for Yentna, landing there at 13:55 on the beach. Will Wait here for the mushers to pass.
